Rent a Pilates machine by the hour and practise independently in our shared, open-concept studio. Designed for qualified Pilates instructors and Pilates trainees seeking flexible access to professional equipment. The studio is a quiet shared space, with multiple participants practising at the same time. Please keep conversations to a minimum, keep phones on silent, and respect other users. A Studio staff member may be present for general facility and booking support. Staff are not qualified Pilates instructors and do not provide instruction, supervision, technique correction, or safety monitoring. Self-practice is independent and unsupervised. Participants must have appropriate training and experience to use the equipment safely and independently. Applicants may be required to provide proof of instructor certification or current enrolment in a recognised Pilates training programme. All applications and bookings are subject to Studio approval. The Studio reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or cancel access where requirements are not satisfactorily met. Self-practice is for your own practice and professional development. Instructor Packs FAQs
1. Who can rent studio equipment?
Rental packs are intended for Pilates instructors. Proof of Pilates training or certification must be presented before the first session.
2. How do I book my rental sessions?
After purchasing your pack, contact us via WhatsApp to arrange your rental dates. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
For group class participations and Monthly Instructor Circle, head over to our "Schedules" page and book directly.
3. How long is each session?
Machine rental sessions are 50 minutes, inclusive of setup, practice or teaching, and pack-down. Reformer classes are 45 minutes.
4. When can I book?
Rental hours exclude weekday evenings and weekend mornings unless otherwise approved. Please check availability before purchasing if you have specific scheduling needs.
5. How long is my pack valid?
Each pack is valid for one month (Basic) / 6 weeks (Essential) and automatically renews until you contact our admin team to cancel.
6. Can unused sessions roll over?
Yes. Unused sessions may roll over up to twice your original plan’s session allocation. Sessions exceeding this limit will expire unless otherwise approved.
7. How do I cancel or reschedule?
Rental session cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made 48 hours before your session, otherwise it would be non refundable.
8. Is a deposit required?
Yes. A S$50 security deposit is payable before your first session. Any justified, documented deductions may apply. The remaining balance will be refunded within 14 calendar days after the rental period ends and relevant issues have been assessed.
9. Can I practise teaching with a student?
Yes, with prior approval and declaration when booking. Teaching practice is limited to one student per session. Instructors are responsible for their student’s conduct, safety and payments.
10. Are there any additional charges on the Instructor Pack Plans?
Yes, prices are subject to 5% admin fees for card payments. PayNow options are available and proof of payment should be shared upon payment to UEN 53504150X.
11. Can I use other Equipment (i.e. the Cadillac, Tower or Chair)?
Additional equipment requires prior approval and may incur extra fees of +$10 per additional equipment. Instructors must be competent to use the equipment safely. Payable via PayNow UEN 53504150X
12. Is the studio exclusively mine during my booking?
No. KOMOHAUS is a shared studio. You may only use your allocated space and equipment. Please respect other instructors and maintain a clean, safe environment.
13. What happens if equipment is damaged?
Report damage immediately. Instructors may be liable for documented repair or replacement costs for damage caused by negligence, misuse, policy breaches or their clients. Certain equipment may have higher replacement fees, payable within one month of the damage date. Normal wear and tear and pre-existing damage are excluded.
14. What conduct is expected?
Treat all instructors, clients and staff respectfully. Maintain professional boundaries and privacy. Do not gossip, disclose confidential information or record/share photos or videos without consent. Harassment and disrespectful behaviour are prohibited.
15. Are Instructor Circle sessions included?
Instructor Circle sessions require advance booking due to limited slots available.
16. Can KOMOHAUS suspend my access?
Yes. Access may be suspended or terminated for policy breaches, non-payment, unsafe conduct, equipment misuse or disruptive behaviour.
17. Are rental packs refundable or transferable?
Packs are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by law or otherwise agreed by KOMOHAUS.
