• As pawkids may participate in certain parts of the Pilates session, each pawrent should bring along a towel for hygiene reasons

FAQs:

  1. I have pre-existing conditions and my doctor has recommended Pilates. Are your classes suitable for me?
Our classes are designed for the general public and focus on overall fitness and strength. While our instructors are experienced in guiding safe and effective workouts, they may not be clinically trained to provide rehabilitative or therapeutic exercises.
If you have specific medical conditions or injuries, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before joining a class. You may also wish to seek sessions with a physiotherapist or a clinically trained Pilates instructor for more tailored support.

  2. I’m 62 and interested in starting Pilates. I have been experiencing some difficulties in carrying groceries. What would you recommend?
That’s great to hear! Pilates is a fantastic way to improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being at any age.
We recommend starting with our Active Aging classes, which are designed with a gentler pace and focus on mobility, stability, and functional movement. Alternatively, our Beginner classes are also suitable, though they are catered to the general public and may move at a slightly faster pace.
If you’re new to exercise or have any concerns, feel free to speak with our team—we’ll be happy to help you choose the class that best suits your needs.

  3. How far in advance can I book?
Classes can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Booking windows will close 30 minutes prior to start of class.

  4. Can I drop in without a booking?
We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome only if space is available. Payment must be made on the spot via Paynow at $28 prior to joining the class.

  5. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance.

  6. Can I reschedule a class?
Yes, you can reschedule your class via your account as long as it's before the cancellation window.

  7. What happens if I miss a class?
Missed classes without notice will be counted as a no-show and the session will be deducted from your package.

  8. What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, form-fitting activewear that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are compulsory for all classes. For safety, students with long hair should have it tied up.

  9. What should I bring?
Grip socks are compulsory for safety and hygiene. Bring your water bottle and a towel.

  10. Do you sell grip socks or other essentials at the studio?
Yes! Standard Grip Socks are available for $12, KOMOHAUS Grip Socks for $20, and hair ties for $1. We accept only cash or Paynow.

  11. How early should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early, especially if it's your first class.

  12. What is your latecomer policy?
You may arrive up to 5 minutes late. Instructors reserve the right to decline entry if warm-ups or essential class preparations have already concluded.

  13. Is Pilates safe during pregnancy?
We recommend our prenatal Pilates classes for expectant mothers, who have had clearance from their doctors.

  14. Should I attend class if I have an injury?
If you have an injury, please consult your healthcare professional before attending class. Let your instructor know about any injuries or limitations so they can help you modify exercises safely. Instructors may advise you to stop the lesson if they find that you are unfit for class. Your well-being is our top priority. Please note that no refunds will be issued in such cases.

  15. Do you offer private or semi-private sessions?
Yes! Private and semi-private sessions can be booked by purchasing the private pack on our website and we will contact you after to schedule your preferred timings.

  16. Is there a minimum number of participants required for a class to run?
We usually like to have at least 3 people in a class to keep the energy up and make it a great group experience. That said, we might still go ahead with fewer—so don't worry if the class is looking a bit quiet. If we ever need to cancel, we’ll let you know ahead of time and make sure you get a class refund or can rebook.

  17. Can I freeze or extend my class pack?
Validity periods are stated on our Plans and Pricing page and in our terms and conditions. Members are responsible for ensuring that their class packs are used within the validity period.
Requests to freeze or extend class packs are generally not permitted. In exceptional cases where a freeze or extension is approved, a fee of $25 will apply.
